In Germany, Vestolit operates the biggest fully integrated vinyl production site in Europe with a total capacity of 400.000 t PVC and around 1.000.000 t Derivatives.

Caustic Soda BLUE (50%)

Caustic Soda BLUE is a clear, colorless solution of sodium hydroxide in water produced with renewable energy. The solution is highly alkaline, highly corrosive and aggressive on a range of materials such as aluminium, magnesium, zinc, glass, enamel and many plastic materials. Caustic soda is approved in the EU as food additive under E 524.

Our Caustic Soda BLUE fulfils the purity criteria for food additives in accordance with the Additive Registration Ordinance (additives authorized), regulation (EU) No. 231/2012, Food Chemicals Codex (FCC) and DIN EN 896 (products for the treatment of water for human use). In addition, our Caustic Soda BLUE is ISCC Plus certified (International sustainability and Carbon Certification).

Caustic Soda 25 / 32 / 33 / 45 / 50%

Caustic soda is a clear, colorless solution of sodium hydroxide in water. Ethyl Chloride

Ethyl chloride is used among other things as a chemical intermediate for the production of metal alkylen and ethyl
cellulose.

At room temperature, gaseous alkyl chloride with an ethereal smell, easily compressible to a colorless liquid.

Methyl Chloride

Methyl chloride is used as an intermediate product for the synthesis of methylated cellulose, n-methyl ammonium compounds and silicones.

At room temperature, gaseous alkyl chloride with a light, sweet smell, easily compressible to a colorless liquid.

Hydrochloric acid 30% (aqueous)

Hydrochloric acid is used in a number of industries in various applications, e.g. for the pickling of metals, for the recovery of chlorine  by electrolysis, for metallurgy and treatment of ores, for regeneration of ion exchangers. Also, it fulfils the purity criteria for products for treatment of water for human use according to DIN EN 939.

It is a clearcolorless to light yellow liquid.
