Altamira I

The Altamira I Plant, with the capacity to produce 500 thousand TPY of homopolymer in suspension of pipe grade resin, is strategically located in the Gulf of Mexico, whose productivity is one of the highest in the world.

Within this industrial complex, there is also a plant to produce phthalic anhydride, as well as phthalate-based, non-phthalate and phthalate-free plasticizers. These raw materials are used by the Compound plant to produce flexible and rigid compounds.

Utilities necessary for the site such as electric energy, steam and water are provided for the cogeneration plant.

In order to stay at the forefront of the PVC business, we have a pilot plant capable of developing new products or raw materials, as well as optimizing current processes in the different plants in Latin America.

This plant has the certifications of both ISO 9001, ISO 14001, Responsible Care and ISRS, which guarantees the quality of our products, as well as safety in our processes.
